THE CUSTOMER
As one of the world’s foremost manufacturers of sewing thread, embroidery thread and technical textiles, A&E’s global presence extends from Asia to Europe to the Americas. A&E doesn’t only manufacture threads for apparel but also technical threads for specialty industrial applications.
THE NEED
To get a performing and economically advantageous system for dispensing recipes for their small-batch dyeing machines of 1 or 2 bobbins capacity.
THE CHALLENGE
To supply an automatic dispensing system of dyestuffs recipes for small dyeing batches, avoiding any risk of error, working 24 hours a day for 7 days a week.
Very small sewing threads batches are required by the clothing manufacturing industry.
THE Tecnorama SOLUTION
Tecnorama had already supplied systems to the A&E production units of Sri Lanka and USA (North Carolina).
In Bangladesh it has been supplied a system consisting of a Dosorama WSL dispensing machine and a rotating belt TA20 where all the recipe beakers are housed up. The dispensing manual operations have been completely eliminated because the small recipes are dispensed in powder or solution form, according to the dyeing shades.
Once the recipe has been dispensed, the operator has just to collect the beaker and transfer it to the small batch dyeing machine.
